About
Lover Pottery is a line of zero-waste ceramics handmade in the PNW by Jasmine LaFleur. Jasmine first learned ceramics when she was a little girl, from her grandmother who was a professional ceramic artist. She would fly to Arizona and spend the summers with her grandmother who had a home studio on a golf course in Queen Valley, AZ. During that time, her grandmother taught her many techniques that she remembers to this day. She moved to Seattle the day after graduating high school where she earned a BFA in Ceramics from University of Washington. During that time, she lived in the creative neighborhood of Fremont next to her favorite coffee shop, Lighthouse Roasters. While she was a student, she had her first pottery sale in her driveway, where Dave Matthews bought the first mug she ever sold. She now specializes in modern ceramic travel mugs as a new sustainable solution to the 500 billion to-go coffee cups disposed of each year. In 2024, she was hired by Lighthouse Roasters to make The Lighthouse Collection: a line of espresso and travel mugs, which are available now at their location.
